Lockdown Anzac 2020

This morning was an unusual ANZAC dawn.  We couldn't have any public services so everyone in New Zealand was asked to stand at their gates for a dawn remembrance.  My son, who is 15 and a student at Campion College, played the Last Post for our neighbourhood.  Here it is here with the sunrise in the background:

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

  1. That just about bought tears to my eyes. Well done William, how lucky your neighbour is to have the Last Post being played on this most unusual Anzac day.
Michelle, I am sure you must have been feeling so very proud.

    1. Yes it was a bit eerie! Quite moving with the sunrise! We had some kind of plane flying around too so even more moving really! Thanks Mrs Spence 😎
