The acronym for helping in an accident is Drs ABCD
D dangers - check for dangers and eliminate themR response - check for a response from the patient
S send for help - get some one to go for help
A airways - check for objects and a clear airway
B breathing - look, listen, feel
C commence CPR if able
D defibrillator if available.
We practiced bandaging a wound:
Calling 111:
Putting someone in the recovery position:
and CPR.
These are all important skills to keep on top of and helping in an emergency!
